CIT Training
May 19th
Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training is a 40-hour, community-led program designed to prepare law enforcement and first responders to safely interact with individuals experiencing mental health or substance use crises. The training emphasizes de-escalation skills, mental health awareness, and diverting individuals from the criminal justice system toward treatment.

Kosciusko County Reserve Academy

The Kosciusko County Reserve Academy provides comprehensive, high-intensity training for law enforcement reserve officers in Indiana, spanning over 200 hours from January to May. This training exceeds the state's 40-hour requirement, focusing on scenario-based training, defensive tactics, and live-fire exercises, including SWAT, K9, and use-of-force simulations, preparing officers to support local police agencies.
